"Rockin' Around the Town Square" Christmas Special Benefit Concert
It has been a very long time since my last post here. A lot has been happening, especially lately. Sometime in the next few weeks, I'll post a recap of this year's happenings - and try to do a much better job of keeping the blog current! However, for now, I am excited to announce something special. Recently I was approached to help coordinate a special one-time Christmas rock concert performance to be held in my hometown of Columbiana, Ohio. I am currently in the process of putting the band together, rehearsing, and organizing everything else for the concert - and wanted to extend an invitation to everyone.
The performance will be similar in nature and style to the multi-faceted and ever-expanding Trans-Siberian Orchestra, albeit on a smaller scale - with a full 7-piece rock band, multiple vocalists, and some orchestral arrangements. We will be performing for approximately (1) hour beginning at 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 23 at the newly renovated Main Street Theater located on the town square at 5 North Main Street in Columbiana, Ohio. The set will consist of a few instrumental Christmas pieces as originally arranged and performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, plus several popular Christmas carols (with vocals) that I've been rearranging specifically for this occasion, and a few other surprises. In addition, special theatrical lighting will be utilized to add an extra visual touch to the performance.

Best of all, this concert is FREE to the public. However, we are requesting that each attendee bring with them a minimum of (1) can of food. Immediately following the performance, we will give all of the donated food to the Way Station, a local charity that will distribute the food to needy families for Christmas.
You may find all of the concert information - including maps and directions - on my website, which can be accessed at www.baydamusic.com. I'm very excited to be a part of this performance - hope to see you there!
