yeah so it's late...
It's nearly 2AM, and I am still wide awake. Imagine that.
Not too much going on, aside from the usual. The robot is nearly complete - tomorrow is the robotics competition at YSU, and then this weekend we will be presenting it as part of the project showcase at the annual IEEE Region 2 conference in Philadelphia. Once this week is done, the rest of the semester *should* be straightforward, especially since the Senior Design course will be finished. My other 2 classes - Advanced Electronics and Signals & Systems - are pretty simple and have gone very well.
Next week, I hope to finally begin the apartment search, since the big move will be little more than a month away. I am a bit more nervous about everything as each day passes - mainly about the big changes that I will be facing. I do look forward to the new job, working with new people, and finally working within the electrical engineering field. I am also looking forward to actually having some free time to write and record new music - I have had the itch to play more and write more lately, but have not had the time to do so. Despite everything that I will be looking forward to, I will definitely miss everyone from home.
I recently bought a few new CDs that I am currently digging very much: Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime II, Lacuna Coil's Karmacode, and Evergrey's Monday Morning Apocalypse. While all three were just released yesterday, I actually had advance copies of the new Queensryche and Lacuna Coil albums - some pretty cool stuff.
Should try to get some sleep now - until next time, cheers!
